So, he's fired, but they're unsure if he'll remain for the 2010-2011. The real question is: Will he still be a Big & Tall model? What will Watertown do without his oversized facial features?

Passive Aggressive Workplace
So there has been quite a recycling uproar at our little non-profit. Apparently there are 20 preschoolers working here. Check out "passive-aggressive" Fridays-

It took the Catholics long enough...
...BUT now they are using 3-D to lure in children. I mean, talk about being ahead of the curve. You can't rely on blind faith anymore- blame it on the economy, maybe, but kids just aren't buying religion because of their parents these days. What they are buying, however, is Avatar and other 3-D movies. I remember when 3-D was a huge deal, but now it's basically real life. After visiting Disney this past fall, it's clear that living in anything less than three dimensions is for suckers (nevermind learning that NO ONE in America can walk 20 feet without stopping to take a bite of a turkey leg and sit down in a wheelchair to move their fat asses around. Go Disney!).
"It reaches out, it goes from the screen right into the room where you are," he said. "And that's what I think is the bottom line to the message of CatholicTV network, that God reaches out to us constantly." AMEN Reverend Dan!
So grab your 3-D glasses, because Jesus is coming back, and he'll be flying down RIGHT IN YOUR FACE. Jesus in 3-D!

NatGeo Special: World's Most Dangerous Drug
If you have 45 minutes to kill (background at work, during your lunch break, at home before bed, etc), then you should definitely check this National Geographic episode out: World's Most Dangerous Drug: Meth.
I've only been watching for about 10 minutes, but I love these documentary-type shows, and I love it even more when it's about drugs or sex, and this meth ones seems to be right up my alley.
Anyways, check it out here if you have a chance.

Quite the Sunday Funday
So yesterday began normally with an early wakeup call from the sun. Even the kitties were in good, snuggly spirits. Kate and I went outside to clean up the porch before enjoying some mid-afternoon bevvies, and realized that the chairs were in pretty awful condition.
Being the handy girls that we are, we decided we would spend the day refinishing the 2 patio chairs, the side table, and the large round table. Luckily, the hardware store is right next to the liquor store...

Saturday Funday
Currently watching BC crush Maine in the Hockey East finals, what a legit game. First 2 goals BC had were quickly answered by Maine, such a rush to watch close games like that. Luckily BC has pulled ahead 4-3 but the 2nd isn't even over yet. More importantly, I plan on having some delicious (note: awful) Four Lokos tonight and some wings, so that should help the 3rd period.
(EDIT: Reservoir Liquors, my only known seller of Four Lokos- is SOLD OUT tonight. People are catching on to their beauty)
I spent the day with mom and dad on Duxbury beach- going to be a great summer. Dad got a Jeep and a beach pass for the drive-on beach, and showed me the ropes today.
After some mildly disappointing shopping, we had to drive my brother Brian back to his apartment by BC, and Nana was with us and wanted a quick tour of the school. Of course we drove through the Mods (RIP 11A), and it was legit the most bittersweet feeling ever. The Mods were packed with people grilling and drinking, and although I was incredibly jealous, I also felt so happy for all the seniors enjoying it. You can't put a price on Saturday day drinking in the Mods on a gorgeous day (well, BC actually puts a large price on it- but worth every penny). I can't wait to drink off that jealousy in our equally white-trash backyard ASAP.
Anyways, GO EAGLES! Even if we don't win, it was nice seeing BU lose last night.

Loco for Lokos!
If you've ever wondered what it would taste like to have a small man in a factory chug a lot of Cossack vodka, eat 1,000 watermelon Jolly Ranchers, and then throw it all up into a tall-boy can, they you NEED to try Watermelon Four Loko's. Although the taste is almost unbearable, they come in 23.5 oz cans and are a whooping 11% alcohol. If you can get yourself a nice straw and pour one of these bad boys over ice, it looks like you have yourself a personal happy hour. Add 3 more, and you'll be raving with the best of them. The best part: they cost about $2.50 a can (whaaat).
Warning: You'll be drunker than you appear, and you'll want to listen to the Steely Dan Pandora station (not that either of these are necessarily bad things, right?)

Casual Fridays
So, Sara found a great image of Healthy Women from the 90s. They are all looking pretty healthy and happy. Since it's Friday, we decided we would go around the office and recreate some mental health images...check out our first attempt.

Eyes on the (free) Prize- March 23rd
For all the Starbucks fans out there who also love free things, CHECK IT.
Don't worry, on March 23rd I'll re-update the coup. The worst thing that can happen to you on that Tuesday is missing Free Pastry Day, right?
Also, I decided that beginning tomorrow, I'll try to post some type of media to keep everyone entertained- whether it will be downloadable or not will depend on how quickly I want those pesky internet police to shut me down.
Note to self: Never use "pesky" again.

Deals, Deals, Deals
I guess it's only fitting that I start this blog off with some sweet deals, since online "window" shopping and finding coupons is how I spend most of my day.
For all of you Vera Bradley lovers (guys, this is you), they are having a great sale: www.verabradley.com. If you go to the sale section, you'll see that many of the styles are on sale (in certain colors), but the great news is that you can also use the code: save20sale at checkout and save 20% on EVERY item. Pretty baller. The shipping is $8, but that is a flat fee, so make sure to stock up! I suggest Katie in Peacock and Wristlet in Mediterranean White- both cute and actually seasonally appropriate.
In other shopping news- if you plan on going to Gap (or the Gap Outlet), Banana Republic, or Old Navy this weekend, be sure to print this coupon (Give me my coup, yo). You can use it over and over and over again, and it will give you 30% off your purchase- even sales! Don't even tell me you don't need a new pair (or 4) of Old Navy flip flops for this spring preview weather! The coupon goes from March 18th-21st.
Finally, at Express you can get $15 off $30, or $30 off of $75- pretty huge savings. Unlike the one above, this also has a code to use online, so you don't even have to step away from the computer to access this deal: the online code is 4227. This deal also ends the 21st, so don't forget to print it out when you hit up the mall with your other coup! Plus, this code works on sales, making a great pair of Express jeans that are currently $20 off online only $32.50 (including shipping). That's a small price to pay for the amount of tail you'll score while wearing them.
Alright, I promise this blog won't only be about sales and coupons, but when they're this good, it would be sinful not to share.
